My name is Brenda Carlstrom. I am a Hoquiam graduate of 1971, left for a few years, but came back to make Hoquiam my home in 1980. I look forward to serving the citizens of Hoquiam and ran for council as I want to see more economic development, while keeping the integrity of the past. All of the citizens in Hoquiam need to work together, honoring diversity, assisting those in need, and proving to new business endeavors that this is a city to be a part of. Hoquiam instills a sense of community and I want to see it remain that way. |
I'm a married father of one. I've lived in Hoquiam my entire life minus the time I was away at college. I run a small manufacturing business in Raymond that supplies parts to the aerospace industry.
At 39 years of age my biggest pearl of wisdom is "Don't discount Hoquiam and the twin Harbors area!" It's a great place to raise a family, own a home, and do business. People with vision and drive can go a long ways here. Always remember that. |
