NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR ZONING AMENDMENTS

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hoquiam City Council submitted requests for the Planning Commission to consider the following:

• Increase in the number of allowed adults in an adult family home to 8 from the previous 6 allowed in the HMC;
• A possible zoning code change for 420 22nd and other nearby properties to a C-1;
• Potential zoning code changes consistent with the comprehensive plan, Downtown Revitalization Plan and other adopted goals of the city.

The City of Hoquiam Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing to consider the zoning amendment on August 24, 2023, at 4:00 PM.

All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing or submit written comments on the proposals to the City of Hoquiam, Department of Public Works, 609 8th Street, Hoquiam, Washington 98550. All written correspondence must be received by the City by 5:00 PM on August 23, 2023. Additional information may be obtained by contacting the City Building Official at phone number 360-538-3973.
